MU Activity Report

MU Activity Report
The MU Activity Report is a comprehensive compilation of information from the Activities and Profile sections in myVITA, utilized in the annual faculty evaluation process. This report is a core component of the annual faculty review process and represents activities for the evaluation year.

Faculty members are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their myVITA Activity data. By maintaining current and complete records in myVITA, faculty can ensure a thorough and accurate annual evaluation.

Once a faculty member completes their self evaluation, the MU Activity Report is generated and added to the supervisor’s dashboard of evaluation materials.  Modifications are still open to faculty during the chair/director step. myVITA will lock the Activity Report into place for that review cycle only after the chair/director submits their review.

The Activities section in myVITA is accessible 24/7 for faculty to update. The majority of the MU Activity Report data is self-entered by the faculty member.

The table below demonstrates the output in the MU Activity Report. The left column is the record name, the middle column is the source of the record, and the right column includes possible examples of data.

At any point in time, faculty can generate their personal MU Activity Report in the Vitas & Biosketches menu dropdown “Legacy Vitas” to check and review activity data to ensure it is up to date. This review is an opportunity to enter any missing activities into the appropriate categories and attach necessary supporting documentation. Please ensure end dates for activities that have concluded or are not relevant to the current evaluation period are accurately reflected.  Click here for guide to generate your MU Activity Report.
