Brian Houston Appointed Associate Provost for Academic Programs

Brian Houston

Provost Matt Martens appointed Brian Houston, professor in the Department of Communication, as associate provost for academic programs, effective August 19. In this role, he oversees policies and processes related to academic programs, including academic program reviews, and new degree program proposals. He supervises the Teaching for Learning Center, the Campus Writing Program, and the Director of Educational Assessment and he will also support department chairs across campus. Prior to this role, he was chair of the Department of Public Health in the College of Health Sciences.
