Jerron Johnson

Jerron M. Johnson leads the Missouri College Advising Corps (MCAC), a college access program founded at MU in 2008 as 1 of 10 inaugural partners of the College Advising Corps national organization. MCAC recruits recent college graduates as full-time, near-peer college advisers helping students in partner high schools statewide aspire to, access, and attain a postsecondary education. He dually serves as the Director of Student Success Coaching Initiatives in the Office of Academic Access and Leadership Development (AALD), which combines a holistic approach with personal and career development frameworks to support students’ success at MU and beyond.

In addition to his MU roles, Johnson is a member and the previous chair of the Missouri College and Career Attainment Network (MOCAN) Board of Directors. He too has served with the Career Awareness and Postsecondary Access Taskforce (Missouri Afterschool Network), FAFSA Completion Advisory Group (Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development), and the Missouri National Service Coalition.
