Dr. Daniel Jones-White is the Director of Institutional Research in University Data, Analytics, and Institutional Research (UDAIR), where he leads a talented team committed to ensuring the University of Missouri–Columbia’s institutional data are accurate, defensible, and translated into the context and meaning that inform academic planning and decision-making. In partnership with the Provost’s Office, his team supports compliance and regulatory reporting, faculty-facing analytics and evaluation, and the interpretive work that helps campus leaders make sense of complex institutional information. He also serves as the UM System/MU Campus Director of Institutional Research, providingdata-informed insights to the UM System leadership.
Dr. Jones-White’s research interests center on student success and the graduate student experience, reflected in his scholarship and his role in developing the multi-institutional gradSERU Survey. He holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (Higher Education) from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities and an MA in Political Science from the University of Missouri–Columbia.
