At the September 26th meeting, the Board of Curators selected the MU Curators’ Distinguished Professors for their contributions through teaching, research and engagement:

Curators’ Distinguished Professor: Alexander Koldobsky, Mathematics
Curators’ Distinguished Professor: Arthur G. Suits, Chemistry
Curators’ Distinguished Professor: J. Chris Pires, Biological Sciences
Curators’ Distinguished Professor: Keith Herman, Educational, School, & Counseling Psychology
Curators’ Distinguished Professor: Robert E. Sharp, Plant Sciences
Curators’ Distinguished Professor: Wendy S. Slutske, Psychological Sciences
Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor: William Horner, Political Science

The appointments are effective September 1, 2019, for a period of five years. The appointment may be renewed at the chancellor’s discretion. See the Provost’s website for information about the nomination process and past recipients.
