Strategic Advantages

Task Force Charge and Timeline

The specific outcome of the process will be:

  • A list of five to eight strategic advantages
    • Each will be "sentence length"-perhaps ten or fifteen words
    • Each will be accompanied by a one-page rationale for its choice and form
  • A brief assessment of intersections of the individual items

Timeline:

Spring 2006 Charge to the Strategic Advantages Task Force Complete
Spring 2006 Survey Constituent Groups: Faculty Staff, Students, Alumni and other MU Supporters Complete
Fall 2006 Compile data and re-convene Strategic Advantages Task Force Complete
Fall 2006 Publish data Complete
Fall 2006 Hold Focus Group meetings for each constituency Complete
Fall 2006 Hold Public Forums to review Focus Group recommendations Complete
Winter 2007 Reconvene Task Force and develop list of six to eight Strategic Advantages for MU Complete
