Academic Programs and Centers

To ensure that MU continues to effectively prepare students for the future and to conduct research to improve our state, nation and global society, MU faculty, staff and administrators regularly review programs and centers. The primary purpose of these reviews is to improve each unit's contribution to one or more of the University's four missions.

A Note about the Special 2017-18 Academic Program Review

In response to budget cuts and lower enrollment, MU is also conducting a top-to-bottom analysis of all of MU academic programs in 2017-18, and eventually making recommendations regarding areas of future investment, potential consolidations, and in some cases, program discontinuance. See the Task Force on Academic Program Analysis, Enhancement, and Opportunities for more information about that review process
